edubuntu-menus software package provides group-driven menus for Edubuntu, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install edubuntu-menus
edubuntu-menus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the edubuntu-menus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep edubuntu-menus *
You will get with edubuntu-menus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
